to stupid to use ReDJ?! please help! was created by sakerfalke
Hello,

thx in advance if I get help here.
And thanks for providing this ReDJ Plugin/Component for free.

I installed both the component and the plugin, plugin is activated, but it still doesn't work.

I am using Joomla 3.1 and our new website is: www.functionbay.org
We also own www.functionbay.de

I tried to make a couple of redirects, for example:
FROM: functionbay.de/en/why-multibody-dynamics/multibody-dynamics.html
OR FROM functionbay.org/en/why-multibody-dynamics/multibody-dynamics.html
TO: www.functionbay.de/index.php/why-multibody-dynamics-simulation/flexible-multibody-dynamics.html

I already read in this forum to use as FROM this kind of form:
^/en/why-multibody-dynamics/multibody-dynamics.html$
e.g. /en/why-multibody-dynamics/multibody-dynamics.html$

It doesn't work either....

What can I try, so a redirect might work?

It seems the errorpage is the one provided by the web server. Just try to add this at the end of .htaccess:
ErrorDocument 404 /

Then the rule should be:
From URL: ^/en/why-multibody-dynamics/multibody-dynamics\.html$
To URL: http://{siteurl}/index.php/why-multibody-dynamics-simulation/flexible-multibody-dynamics.html
Request only: true (checked)

Let me know if works...

I added the line "ErrorDocument 404 /" to the end of my .htaccess, but it still doens't work.
Request only is already checked by default!
Should I uncheck the other 2 points called "Case sensitive" & "Decode URL" ??!!
I also tried that, but it didn't fix it...
Or should i maybe use your placeholder {siteurl} as you have written it?
Or use my siteurl "functionbay.org" instead of "{siteurl}?
Nothin works... hmm....

Do not worry,
for the first setup I can support you. Send me an email at info(at)selfget.com, with a temporary access to the backend, or we can schedule a remote session with Team Viewer, as you prefer.

Kind regards,
Luigi
