To My surprise and I am sure most joomla 2.5 users.
This issue is not related to REDJ as Luigi suggested, but rather it is a bug in joomla 2.5 if the home page is not using com_content as in my case.
Here is the details, it is very ineresting.

The solution is in the same link, it worked for me and I hope this may help others.
