redirect not working

redirect not working was created by webdev
Hi

I've installed the plugin and component. In the plugin I can get the redirect working so that 403's and 404's go to a specific page but in the component when I set a redirect it does not work. I tried to do this from the Redirects menu and also from the errors and the URL I am trying to redirect is going to the generic redict page I set up in the plugin and not the custom redirect I have set up.

Could you please suggest what I have done wrong?

The redirect from plugin should be used with attention. Maybe you just need some redirection rules.

To redirect from the component you need to create a redirection rule. I can help you with the first rule but I need to know which redirection you need.
