Installation problems; component will not load

This is my first Joomla installation. I am comfortable with CMS work... I just haven't used this one before. I installed ReDJ according to the directions but, when I try to access the component (Components -> ReDJ -> Redirects) I get the following error:
An error has occurred.
500 JHtmlBehavior::tabstate not found.
I have tried to uninstall then reinstall... any other ideas?

Hi,
unfortunately this version of Joomla is too old for ReDJ. I suggest you to upgrade ASAP due to security holes...

but last version available is 3.4.3 released the 2nd of July 2015. Try the manual update.
