Can JBackend be used to send Virtuemart products to Android Apps? was created by tendyow
Please I want to know if JBackend is capable of generating API from Virtuemart products and category sections and pass to Android mobile apps.

Please I want to buy the JBackend component that is why I want to be sure if I can use it to generate API from Virtuemart in Joomla 3 and connect to Android mobile app that I am developing.

Hi Ikpe,
at the moment there isn't a Virtuemart plugin for jBackend so this is not possible yet.

Hi Ikpe
jBackend itself is just a framework and has no built in support for any extension. But it can be extended with plugins to support virtually any extension on JED.

That being said, at the moment there is no plugin to support Virtuemart and no plan to implement it soon. So unless there is a sponsor for it you should develop the plugin by yourself or hire someone.
