I'm looking to get a list of categories for an app I'm writing. I'm using the following API call:
/get/content/categories?recursive=true

The API responds with an "ok" status and 12 categories, but I have more than 12 categories. When I query my database I get 19 categories. I'm selecting from _categories published=1 and extension = 'com_content';

Is there some particular criteria outside published, no parent and "com_content" that limits the # of categories?
