I add a 301 redirect for a 1.5 site in a subfolder (name = site)

root —> site (joomla)

Everything work perfectly - I got a 301 redirect and the name of the subfolder is gone...

www.avocatshorsquebec.org/

Can I use RedJ to redirect any old url with the old www.avocatshorsquebec.org/site/whatever... to

www.avocatshorsquebec.org/whatever...

Yes,
if ReDJ is installed in the site www.avocatshorsquebec.org/, and the rule is:
From URL: ^/site/
To URL: http://{siteurl}/{pathltrim /site/}{queryfull}
Request only: true (must be checked)

Kind regards,
Luigi

Thanks for your answer

I try to find the setting (Request only) but I don’t see it? - I even look at the plugin?

Sorry, my mistake.
You told me you are using Joomla 1.5, "request only" was added for Joomla 2.5. Forget about it for your case.

Kind regards,
Luigi

No problem...

I still try what you show me

I get 404 error when I go to —>

www.avocatshorsquebec.org/site/en/contactez-nous.html

It actually go to —> www.avocatshorsquebec.org because I set it up like that in the Redj plugin...

I can see the error in Redj logs

Can I still beat that with RedJ ?...

I have access to my htacces file, maybe I can put it directly in there .... I really need to make it work
