Hi,
I just bought a subscription for Jbackend. I am able to get articles as json. I want to get data from database in to json as the page has lot of unneccessary information.

Is it possible to get data from database. please help me here

it is not clear what you need to do, but actually all you can do with existing content module is documented here:

www.selfget.com/documentation/jbackend-joomla30/content-module-api.html

If you need some customization, pls, let me know more details...

I'm also interested to directly access any other table in database via JSON...
...it's already possible with jBackend or you need to develop a custom plugin?

Hi Guido and thanks for compliments. :)

To access data from a custom table it is required to develop a little custom plugin. But it is not complex, and you could also do by yourself if you know a little about joomla development:

Have you already prepared a plugin which simply a get in a table? and not just an "Hello world!" :)
It's easier for me to modify a structure that already accessing a table...
...it is possible?
