In my Joomla Global Configuration, SEF urls is set to YES, and the next 3 options are NO (url rewriting, add suffix, unicode aliases). My results with this rule is a redirection to my domain top level (domain.com) skipping the j3 subdirectory altogether. For clarification, the full URLs I'm trying to achieve are:

acidrecovery.com/j3/index.php/about-acid-recovery
to
acidrecovery.com/j3/About
but instead it's redirecting to
aciderecovery.com
