Can't Auto Assign Group with Profile Pro was created by BillyWardrop38

Hi

I've installed Auto group and I followed the video to auto assign a user to a group when my CB Profile Pro select field was populated. I used the code as per your example but the user doesn't get auto assigned. As a test, I tried adding a normal select field with the same values and my user was assigned first time.

The only difference I can see between the fields is that you can't see the values for the CB Profile Pro field. I assumed that they where the same as the option label.

How do I get this working?

Hi Billy,
to have CB Profile Pro installed could be a great difference but up to now other users were able to work with CB Profile Pro and Auto Group. As long as any extension uses the standard CB API (and triggers) Auto Group can do its job. I need to check your settings, so we can schedule a remote support session or you can send me a temporary backend access, as you prefer. Send me an email at info(at)selfget.com.

Hi Billy,
let me thank you for your time and patience.

After my tests it seems that values returned by a field of type "profiletype_select" are all in lowercase, so changing your rule as follow solves the problem:

cb_profiletype;dog borrowers;Dog Borrowers;true
cb_profiletype;dog owners;Dog Owners;true

I have the same issue and I went through all the capitalization unless it needs to be all lowercase.

cb_profiletype;Beverage Makers;BrewersWineMakers;true
cb_profiletype;Supporting Industries;EquipSuppliers;true
cb_profiletype;Interested Reader;Reader;true
