Easyblog and redirecting was created by iFootpath
Hi

I have upgraded from j1.5 to 3.x and at the same time installed EasyBlog

As a consequence i have about 30 or so URLs that now default to home page. Some of the URLs are internal links and some have backlinks to them.

I am pleased that I have upgraded and that I am now using EasyBlog.

i thought I could install ReDJ and and in all the redirects - but the first one I have tried is not working - I thnk that EasyBlog is preventing ReDJ form working?

Here are are 2 example URLs and an attached screenshot.

Old URL
j3.ifootpath.com/news/100-ifootpath/98-ifootpath-features-in-web-user-magazine

New URL
j3.ifootpath.com/index.php/news/ifootpath-news/entry/ifootpath-features-in-web-user-magazine

I may have got this completely wrong?

Hi,
you created a rule using the full URL, but your "request only" is true. Try this rule:
From URL: ^/news/100-ifootpath/98-ifootpath-features-in-web-user-magazine$
To URL: http://{siteurl}/index.php/news/ifootpath-news/entry/ifootpath-features-in-web-user-magazine
Request only: true (checked)

Kind regards,
Luigi

Hi Luigi

Thank you for your help

I have added the suggestion - see screen shot. But still does not work.... I fear that EasyBlog blocks the re-direct?

Regards

Hi,
is not EasyBlog to block redirection... ReDJ can work with any extension (it works on URLs). But as I can see from your screenshot, you haven't enabled the ReDJ plugin :)
