Any news on why this isn't working with Joomla 3.2? I had to disable the redirect as it was defaulting everything to the base URL

I had no time to setup an environment like described (Joomla 3.2 + ReDJ 1.7.2 Community).

Finally I got it, and is not a bug...
I didn't realize at first time that your rule would match URLs like:

www.yoursite.com/index.php/archived-articles?var1=aaa&var2=bbb

For this kind of URLs the path and the query are nulls. If you need to build the destination with "?var1=aaa&var2=bbb" you can use placeholders.
