Hi,
I have discovered a little issue with addUserToGroup and removeUserFromGroup and released a fix (Auto Group 2.1 for CB 2.x and Auto Group 1.14 for CB 1.x).

Please, download new 2.1 version and let me know if the problem is solved now.
