we need to redirect thousands of products on a website VM2 based. Currently all products on this website do include into alias field (slug) not the name of the product (as it should) but the SKU (!) and so we will have to erase all SKU's into slug field so that they will be replaced by the product name. Moreover this site is currenty using the JoomlaSef whil we would switch to sh404SEF because a number of reasons.

So, just to give you a example, we need to redirect thousands of URL's like this:
www.mysite.it/index.php/component/virtuemart/utensili%20per%20edilizia%20e%20officina/raschietti%20e%20pistole%20termiche/larebac001-detail?Itemid=0

into this:
www.mysite.it/index.php/utensili-per-edilizia-e-officina/raschietti-e-pistole-termiche/lama-di-ricambio-per-raschietto-bahco-65-0-e-665-art-451-detail.html

where 'larebac001' is the SKU that must be replaced wth the name 'lama-di-ricambio-per-raschietto-bahco-65-0-e-665-art-451-detail.html'

sh404SEF does allow to redirect by creating an alias for each product containing old an new URL and it works but this is a manual operation impossible to perform on thousands of products. So if one or more of your products can give us a solution for this we will buy it/them immediately.
