complex redirects was created by FDigital01
hello

i have several complex redirects and i have spent some time reading the posts, but cannot quite understand what i need to do.

i am happy to purchase the enterprise redirect if it is better to do the following with a combination of 404 and 200 (internal) redirects.

There are several url structures that need to be transferrred:

sitename/foldercat/sub-folder/article-1, article-2, etc. (there are many documents in the folder (the new site has a different name to the old site for the cat/sub-cat and documents...

I was looking for some way to use a wildcard redirect where everything in a folder/sub-folder would be redirected to the new folder/sub-folder regardless of the name of the document or document extension.

Is this possible?

There are hundreds of redirects.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Yes, it's possible. Without a full URL example I can only show you an example rule:
From URL: ^/cat/sub/
To URL: http://{siteurl}/cat/new-sub/{pathltrim /cat/sub}{queryfull}
Request only: true (checked)

About the Enterprise, you only need for internal redirect, but this rule works also for Community version.

Kind regards,
Luigi
