Some redirects work, some don't was created by trimtech

Hello,

my site is www.tri-m.com/

I have 2 goals. The first one I have had success with, redirecting pages like this: www.tri-m.com/index.php/our-products/tri-m/power-ups to the new URL structure after a change last week, so now it is www.tri-m.com/index.php/products/tri-m/power-ups. I have been able to get these redirects to work.

What is not working is when I try to redirect URLs that have not existed for a couple years, such as this: www.tri-m.com/products/aaeon/gene4310.html I want to redirect to this page: tri-m.com/index.php/products/aaeon This doesn't work

Please help!

the rule should be:

From URL: ^/products/aaeon/gene4310\.html$
To URL: http://{siteurl}/products/aaeon
Request only: true (checked)

Thank you for the quick response, unfortunately it still does not work.

I have also found now that the redirects I thought were working actually aren't; it was only working because I had added them through the built-in Joomla redirect manager

I just found that the server my site is on is Nginx, not Apache, could that cause problems?
