I'm getting this issue too.
I'm running 1.8.1 Enterprise, Joomla 3.7.2 and php7.
Full error is:
Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 1 passed to plgSystemReDJ::customException() must be an instance of Exception, instance of Error given in /httpdocs/plugins/system/redj/redj.php:673 Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: plgSystemReDJ::customException(Object(Error)) #1 {main} thrown in /httpdocs/plugins/system/redj/redj.php on line 673
Hopefully the new 1.8.3 fixes this? Not sure when release is planned...

Amazing response thanks Luigi. I have installed to my client's site unfortunately it has thrown another error for me, which I am now investigating.
I don't think its a ReDJ issue though so the initial issue has been resolved.
