Are you saying that what I would need to do is install the plugin. . . go to the JavaScript and figure out how to change the JavaScript to reflect the change, and that should be all I need to do to make it work as needed?

I think so,
but maybe you can take a look at JS code without to install the plugin before. Just open the zip package and search for it.
