Cant Get Plugin to assign the groups

Cant Get Plugin to assign the groups was created by hawkready
So I followed the tutorial you have and it seems I cant get the plugin to assign my users to the group
cb_producers
cb_Artist

It shows up on there profile but does not assign them in the back end to the groups they pick
it does this on joomla users and cb users

pleas help
my site is ballhousemusic
